Kawasaki Team Enters Enduro World Championship

It was a rainy start to the 2024 Enduro World Championship season over the weekend of 6 and 7 April in Fafe, Portugal. Following some years of absence in this racing class Kawasaki took part in an EnduroGP race and the Kawasaki Motors Italy supported MGR Racing Team fielded three riders Davide Soreca, Aleksander Bracik and Herman Ask.

The two days of the race were structured over three laps and nine total special tests per day; a tricky natural extreme test, a fast cross test and a technical enduro test, to be repeated three times each gave us the ranking of the first Grand Prix. The weather was not lenient either on Saturday or Sunday and this led to the riding sections changing considerably during the two days of the race.

Davide Soreca acquitted himself well in Enduro 1 ending both days in the Top 10 of the class managing to finish in ninth position on Saturday and eighth on Sunday on his KX250X machine.

Aleksander Bracik had a tough debut given the high technical level of the event and the harsh weather conditions. Despite this, Aleksander was able to perform well in all the special tests, concluding both days of the race without few issues while creating a wealth of fundamental experience for the next Grand Prix.

Herman Ask successfully concluded both days within the Top 10 of Junior 2; tenth on Saturday and ninth on Sunday creating optimism for his next ride with the team.

MGR Racing Team Manager, Enrico Garelli, commented: "It was a tricky day because of the weather and the conditions of the special tests. Davide, Aleksander and Herman put in a lot of effort. For the next GP the goal is to do something more in terms of positions in the standings. However, I am satisfied with the riders, the motorcycles and the whole team, which has worked really hard."
